With Safer Communities Project Centre for Inclusive Education aims to develop a working model for appropriate rapid reaction to child abuse cases on local level in 4 municipalities based on the international “Keeping Children Safe” standards for Child Safeguarding by non-governmental and governmental structures that work directly with children. It continues the Child Safe Project financed by OAK Foundation.
Its main results are the creation of report, generalizing existing child safeguarding policies and practices at schools, homes, centres and other structures, working directly with children; presentation and development of internal organizational child safeguarding policies and procedures; development of common understanding of child safeguarding problems, trainings for implementation of internal organizational child safeguarding policies and procedures and a toolkit for introducing working model for mutual rapid reaction and interaction.
