The GATE project (UnderstandinG dyslexiA phenomena beTween prE-primary and primary school) is implemented in partnership between organisations from six European countries – Bulgaria, Italy, Luxembourg, Scotland, Spain and Turkey.
The project aims to create an educational model (GATE System) with three main goals:
- To support pre-primary teachers in the early identification of pupils experiencing dyslexic difficulties;
- To equip pre-primary and primary teachers with knowledge, skills and tools to support pupils experiencing dyslexic difficulties;
- To ensure educational continuity between pre-primary and primary schools working with pupils experiencing dyslexic difficulties.
