Children's participation is important - a training seminar for teachers, educators and school counselors

The training offers an insight into the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and is a good starting point for any group of professionals (teachers, educators, school counselors, etc.) who wants to start a process of participation and empowerment among children. Rates of child participation, methods for inclusion and ways of consulting are among the highlights of this workshop.

Inclusive education is a process of changing the school environment based on respect and acceptance of other people. It implies wise management of school processes in a way which makes children feel supported to develop their capacity and to overcome hardships; which makes teachers feel encouraged and confident that they are able to cope with the growing challenges, while parents are able to assume their responsibility and role in partnership with schools.
